Shirish Saravanan gears up for his next
Actor Shirish Saravanan made a promising debut with Anandakrishnan’s Metro, which is centered on chain-snatching. The film received critical acclaim and the actors were lauded for their realistic performance. Now, Shirish is geared up to shoot for his second film as a hero in January.
We had already reported that he has been signed on by director Dharani Dharan of Jackson Durai fame. Speaking to DC, Shirish says, “We were supposed to start the film earlier, but it got postponed for several reasons. Now, we are kicked about starting the project on January 2. The makers have planned to finish the project at a single stretch. With 28 days of shooting schedule, we are expecting to wrap it up by the first week of February.”
The movie is a murder mystery that is set in the backdrop of Chennai. “I can’t reveal details about my role right now. All I can say is that my character is subtle and I took acting classes to portray my role with finesse,” he adds.
The team managed to bring in Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director for the untitled film. “There are five songs in the movie and Yuvan sir has completed two,” he shares.
Dharani Dharan has finalised the title, cast and crew of the film, which will be announced on December 29 by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
