Actress Manjima Mohan, who starred opposite Nivin Pauly in Oru Vadakkan Selfie, is all set to play Queen in the film’s Malayalam version. According to a source, “The makers decided to take different actresses for the remake versions down South. For Telugu, they roped in Tamannaah and for the Malayalam version they zeroed in on Manjima Mohan.”
Both the Telugu and Malayalam versions will be directed by Neelakanta while the Tamil remake will be directed by a different director and will feature another actress.
After her Malayalam movie, he had made her debut in Tamil and Telugu industries, but despite getting good reviews for her performance, Manjima had not signed a second project in Telugu. She did a few Tamil films though and the Queen remake will be her second Malayalam film.
