Parava has been in the news since actor Soubin Shahir announced his directorial debut starring Dulquer Salmaan and Shane Nigam. Dulquer himself has been promoting the movie for quite some time saying that it is ‘unlike anything you have seen’ and ‘Soubin is gonna surprise you’. The actor on Friday took to his Facebook wall to aanounce that the movie has been issued a U/A certificate and he will be in the movie for only 25 minutes.
His post reads, “I'm super excited to announce that Parava has been censored and certified with a U/A certificate (for some action sequences)! I know that all the posters feature me quite extensively, but we just want to be honest with all of the viewers. I'm in the film for only around 25 minutes. It's an extended cameo. But I would have done it even if it was just five minutes because it is a terrific film and I think it will be a game-changer. It's another huge blessing that I got to be a part of this film and I thank Allah daily for every chance I've been given. Also want to thank Anwar Ikka and Soubin for this amazing amazing opportunity and I loved every single moment of Parava! Cannot wait for you all to watch it. You will love it just as much as I have (sic).” The movie penned by Soubin and Muneer Ali will hit the screens on Thursday. It will also feature Arjun and Zinil, the sons of actors Harishree Ashokan and Zainudeen respectively.
