Yesteryear actress Maathu, who is known among Malayalam movie buffs for her roles in Amaram, Sadayam, Savidham and Ratholsavam, has found love again. The actress, who had divorced her Dr. Jacob four years ago, reportedly got married to Tamil Nadu native Anpalakan George, a physician, in New York recently.
The actress, who started her film career as a child actress and was active in South Indian film industry for over two decades, had bade goodbye to filmdom in 2000 after her marriage to Dr. Jacob and had moved to the US where she was running a dance academy. Maathu has two children, Luke and Jamie, from her previous marriage.
Hailing from a Telugu family, Maathu had been a darling of Malayalis in her active years for bringing life to memorable characters like Muth in Amaram, Malu in Ekalavyan and Jaya in Sadayam. She has acted in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films too in the 90s.?
