Udaya’s comeback movie Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho (KPAC) will have actor Anusree playing the lady lead. She can be seen as a village belle in the movie, sources say. After the announcement of the movie came, an open audition was conducted in Ernakulam to find the heroine. Rather than going in for a person from the talent test, Anusree got roped in for the role.
Directed by Sidhartha Siva, KPAC is the 67th movie to be out under the Udaya banner after actor Kunchacko Boban, the scion of Kunchacko family, had revived it after 30 years. He will be enacting the male lead, Kochavva, the go-to man of countryside.
The film has just wrapped up its Thiruvananthapuram schedule and commenced its Perumbavoor shoot. The shooting is being completed in other locations at Adimali, Pollachi and Bengaluru as well. It is expected to hit the marquee around Onam.
The cast also comprise Aju Varghese, Mukesh, Nedumudi Venu, Muthumani and KPAC Lalitha.
