When they made Mungaru Male, it was nothing extraordinary. Until the rage of the songs and simple narration picked up steam and became a milestone in the Kannada film industry, giving birth to the Golden Star and the popular director.
Both Ganesh and Yograj Bhat came back yet again for another sensation — Galipata, which was also a success. Thereafter, they could not come together for a film. And, now finally after eight years, Golden Star Star and Yograj Bhat have managed to come together in an attempt to recreate their earlier magic.
This time, they are also producing the film for which V. Hari Krishna, who had scored music for Galipata, is composing. The other highlight is lyricist Jayanth Kaykini, who was another genius behind the success of the songs of Mungaru Male and Galipata. He is also a part of this third venture.
However, the two are yet to finalise other aspects like the female lead, title, etc. The movie is set to go on the floors in September. They say the movie is about a simple man revolving around a typical lifestyle. Well, the audience has to ‘simply’ wait for some more time before it starts raining totally Mungaru Male style!
