Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Srija is set to marry again and sources say the veteran actor is absolutely over the moon.
While the family is yet to officially confirm the news, a source said that it is an arranged marriage and will be held in March.
“Yes, Srija is going to marry again. The groom is from Chittoor and the family has known him for a while now. Chiranjeevi is also overjoyed that Srija has agreed to marry again,” says the source.
The two families met for dinner recently at Chiranjeevi’s residence and finalised all the details. Even Pawan Kalyan cancelled the shoot for Sardar Gabbar Singh to attend the family dinner.
“Many thought that he (Pawan) had come to Hyderabad to speak about the recent Tuni violence, but he actually came to discuss Srija’s marriage,” adds the source.
Chiranjeevi apparently is organising a huge ceremony. “He is planning a big wedding in March for his younger daughter, which he had missed earlier,” the source says.
Srija had eloped and married Sirish Bharadwaj in 2007 as she was afraid of her uncle Pawan Kalyan’s reaction.
However, the marriage did not last long and she applied for divorce, accusing Sirish of harassment. She has a daughter from that marriage. The divorce came through in 2014.
“Chiranjeevi was the happiest person when Srija came back home after her divorce as he has always felt that she is her lucky charm,” says the source.
Meanwhile Srija went to London to complete her Masters from Coventry University.
