Another devotional film for Nagarjuna?
At the audio event of his film Om Namo Venkatesaya, Nagarjuna said that writer J.K. Bharavi had come up with another script for him. Bharavi is the writer of devotional films such as Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and the present Om Namo Venkatesaya that is being directed by Raghavendra Rao.
According to our source, this time Bharavi is coming up with a biopic on Swami Prabhupada, the spiritual teacher and founder of ISKCON (International Society of Krishna Consciousness). “J.K. Bharavi narrated the short version of his story to Nagarjuna and the actor has still not yet decided. But there is a potential story on how Prabhupada became the guru and started the Hare Krishna movement,” says a source. The source also revealed that ISKCON is showing interest in producing the period drama.
