Ram Gopal Varma to direct last Telugu film of his career
Director Ram Gopal Varma is always making news, sometimes because of his films and most of the times because of what he says. This time, RGV has announced that he will quit Telugu films after his upcoming film Vangaveeti.
The director, a while ago, had announced that he would be directing Vangaveeti, that tells the story of the feud between the famous Vangaveeti and Devineni families from Vijayawada.
“I decided to quit Telugu films after this project because I will never be able to get a bigger story,” read a press release from the director.
He further added that life has come in full circle for him, as he started his career in Telugu films with the Nagarjuna-starrer Shiva, based on a gang war in Vijayawada and now will be ending it with another film from the same city.
