After the success of Dandupalyam (2012), the makers are now coming up with the sequel Dandupalyam 2. Srinivasa Raju, who directed the first one, is also directing the sequel.
The makers are planning to release the sequel simultaneously in both Kannada and Telugu. “The first film Dandupalyam went on to cross 100 days in many centres and also collected high revenues. After completing the censor formalities, we are planning to release the film in August,” says producer Venkat.
Pooja Gandhi and Raghu Mukherjee are playing the lead actors, while Bommali Ravishankar and Sanjjanaa play the other key roles. The makers of the film constructed a huge jail set in Bengaluru at a cost of Rs 1 crore.
