Looks like young director Sriram Aditya believes in emulating his films. The subject of his debut film Bhale Manchi Roju revolved around a bride being kidnapped from the kalyanamandapam in the middle of her marriage. And Aditya did the same in real life, he just did not cut it so fine.
Sriram was in love with a girl but her parents hadn’t agreed to the match. They fixed the girl’s marriage elsewhere and decided on the date — April 17 — which was a few days away. The wedding cards were distributed and hotel rooms booked for a five-day extravagant wedding.
However, on Tuesday the girl eloped with Aditya, just three days from her wedding. “The parents are shocked. They don’t know the whereabouts of the couple,” says a source.
The girl’s parents had earlier produced a few Telugu films with a superstar.
Meanwhile, Aditya is supposed to start his next project with actor Nani soon, and apart from the girl’s parents, the producers of the film are also keen to know their director’s whereabouts. But no police complaint has been filed as the girl’s parents didn’t want a scandal.
