Harish Shankar criticises critics at 'Duvvada Jagannadam' Thank You Meet!
Director Harish Shankar was a dejected person on Monday. After making what he believes was a super classic film, DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham, he is upset that the critics gave the film bad reviews. At the thank you meet of the film, he cried and said that he doesn’t give much importance to reviews, but interestingly, he talked mostly about them.
“India is the biggest democracy in the world and anyone can voice their opinion. However, reviews aren’t criticising the film’s subject or character, but are rather targeting the director, which is not correct,” he said, adding that many people called him headstrong after the success of Gabbar Singh. “I have my own attitude and that’s why I got to direct Gabbar Singh. I didn’t get an attitude after the film,” he clarified.
The director also mentioned that although he wrote great dialogues in the film, they were not highlighted. He went overboard about his film, even ranking it after Baahubali.
This is not the first time that the director has been miffed with the media. However, this episode once again proves that he is a ‘loose talker’.
