2 Lakh Job Notifications in a Year: CM Revanth Reddy

TSPSC to be reconstituted

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the state government will soon issue job notifications following the reconstitution of the TSPSC Board while addressing a press conference at the Secretariat on Wednesday. He reaffirmed the Congress' commitment to fulfil its promise made during the Assembly polls to fill two lakh job vacancies in government departments by December 2024.

Highlighting the reasons for the reconstitution of TSPSC, Revanth Reddy pointed out that the existing TSPSC Board, formed by the previous BRS government, had lost the trust of students, job seekers, and the unemployed in the state due to issues such as question paper leakages, exam cancellations, and other irregularities in the recruitment process.

"In our election manifesto, Congress pledged to reconstitute the TSPSC Board. The current TSPSC chairman and a few other members have resigned from their positions, and their resignations are pending approval with the Governor. Once we receive the Governor's approval, we will reconstitute the TSPSC Board with individuals known for their honesty and integrity. We are actively pursuing this matter with the Governor," the Chief Minister said.

Taking a swipe at BRS leaders who questioned the government's delay in issuing job notifications, Revanth Reddy pointed out, "It's only been 20 days since the Congress government assumed power. We are in the process of reconstituting the TSPSC Board, and our objective is to issue job notifications and conduct recruitment exams under the new TSPSC Board."

He reiterated the Congress government's commitment to filling two lakh jobs in government departments within a year, adhering to the deadline of December 2024.
