- Animation, fashion, stationery, packaging, and children's books are few place where she gets her inspiration from.
- “I don't limit myself to a particular technique so I can explore and experiment,†says Huang.
- Now she uses a variety of techniques to create her beautiful work layering, quilling, paper engineering, etc.
- Huang always had a very good sense for 3D spatial reasoning so I found working with paper to be very natural.
- “I wanted rules and yes/no answers for things, but art doesn't usually work that way. But when I found paper as a medium, everything clicked,†she added.
- “I first got into paper art through pop-ups. At school, I had been struggling with my drawing and painting skills for a while,†says Jackie Huang.
- Her out of the box thinking gives her art work a new perspective.
