HLL Lifecare contest to pep up relations
Thiruvananthapuram: Public-sector condom maker HLL Lifecare launched a unique online backwaters contest #MoodsOnWaves on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday. Ten winners among couples participating at the national level will spend overnight on houseboats, absolutely free. HLL CMD R. P. Khandelwal digitally launched the contest at a function held at its Poojapura office. The online #MoodsOnWaves contest is open for 60 days, and the winners, to be announced on May 1, can avail their prizes at their convenience within three months.
The winners, ten Indian couples, will be offered two days and one night, fully free stay in the luxurious houseboats cruising through the backwaters in Alappuzha. Mr Khandelwal said -#MoodsOnWaves is the first of its kind initiative in Indian backwaters, and it is an attempt to break the boredom that tends to creep into a relationship over time.
“MOODS (condoms) strengthen relationships by getting them to do things together and bringing them closer,” he said. For participating in the contest, couples need to log on to www.moodsplanet.com and click on the link #MoodsOnWaves. A new page opens where they can furnish their necessary details and upload selfies. Click on submit, and that completes the procedure. "MOODS has bagged the prestigious Brands of Asia Award," HLL vice-president (marketing) T. Rajashekhar said. "The houseboats hosting winners will be branded as #MoodsOnWaves. The couples will be gifted with a special edition MOODS pack."
