Video: This employee's response to a snake in the newsroom will shock you

The kind of environment prevailing in a workplace is what sets the tone for the efficiency with which people do their job. While several issues are kept in mind to make surroundings in an office as secure and motivating as possible, a serpent crawling in on the desk would be the last thing on any employer’s mind.

While snakes have been making news lately for popping out of places like refrigerators and air conditioners one just ended up right in the newsroom in Australia. A video posted by 9 News Darwin on Facebook showed a snake comfortably curled up next to a computer at their office.

If the sight of a snake at the desk wasn’t shocking enough, the ease with which an employee picked up the serpent and captured it in a bag will leave you astonished. She simply uses a hanger to drag it away from the computer and then fearlessly grabs it.
