Tune out your chatty coworkers with this novel invention
Have you every found yourself stuck on the same sentence for 10 minutes because your co-workers are either having a loud conversation or being distracting?
If yes, then you know how it annoying it can be. Sadly, these little irritations are part of work life that we have to get used to.
However, if you’re looking for a way to block out the office chatter, you may want to give this innovative invention a go. It's called the Helmfon, which is essentially a gigantic helmet that tunes out the noise, according to a report by the Metro.
Created by Hochu Rayu, it is designed to help people focus in the work place and keep you in your zone. It uses special absorption feature to get rid of sound. Rayu wanted to give those working a sense of personal space.
The helmet can also be used to watch movies, edit videos and answer phone calls, the report revealed. Metro reported it even has "system board, microphone, speakers, accumulator, magnifier", and place for your phone. You can even get it in the colours you want.
Before you get too excited, work on the helmet isn't quite finished as it is still in the concept design stages. But, when it is ready it might make those tough days at work a little bit more bearable.
