Hyderabad: No parking, Rythu Bazaars are dirty too
Hyderabad: Customers flocking to Rythu Bazaars are find that the markets are dirty, and the parking lot is not sufficient. The problem is more acutely felt at the Erragadda, Mehdipatnam and Kukatpally Rythu Bazaars, the biggest in the city.
Customers are forced to park on the roads, and are being penalised for wrong parking or getting their vehicles seized.
The marketing department has sanctioned funds to develop a parking lot at Erragadda, but there is no space. Recently, a tiled parking lot was built for the Saroornagar Rythu Bazaar.
Mr Syed Ahmed from Nagulabanda in the Old City said parking space had been allocated outside the Falaknuma Rythu Bazar. Due to heavy rush, customers were parking their vehicles in a second line.
“When customers return after shopping, they find their vehicles have been seized by the traffic police. Customers should pay the challan for going to purchase cheap vegetables from this market,” he said.
