Vijayawada: The Union Budget has disappointed Andhra Pradesh. Barring the capital gains tax exemption for the capital area’s farmers, the Budget has not addressed any of the state’s issues.
The railway zone for Vizag, revenue deficit, support for capital city and other issues found no mention. Telugu Desam Party is celebrating the capital gains tax exemption even as opposition parties lashed out at it.
