Man who offered Rs 11 lakh to kill Kanhaiya Kumar has Rs 150 in bank
New Delhi: Delhi police on Monday arrested Poorvanchal Sena chief Adarsh Sharma, who had put up posters across Central Delhi offering Rs 11 lakh as cash prize to anybody who shoots dead JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar.
A case under the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act had been registered against Sharma for putting up the posters.
According to reports, the police during the course of its investigation into the case had found out that Sharma has only 150 Rs in his bank account. Investigating officers spoke to his friends and landlord who said that Sharma had no regular source of income and has not even paid his rent for several months.

“Whoever shoots JNUSU president and traitor Kanhaiya Kumar will be rewarded Rs 11 lakh from the Poorvanchal Sena,” read the posters in Hindi and were signed by Adrash Sharma along with his contact details.
Sharma had claimed that he put up 1500 such posters in the city and expressed shock at Kanhaiya’s speech. The Poorvanchal Sena chief said that Kanhaiya had attacked ‘our motherland’ in his speech and that it was ‘unacceptable’.
