Chennai: Cops suspect the marital discord to be the prime reason behind the drastic step of TV serial actor Sai Prashanth, reported on Sunday night.
The actor, in his suicide note, had apologized for the domestic violence his wife had suffered at his hands. The suicide note primarily addressed to his wife Sujitha dwells deep into the affection of the deceased towards his daughter – Rakshitha and his wife.
To his wife, Sai Prashanth left instructions on as to how she can lean back on the family support, which he had in place for her. The actor asserted that he had always been a good father to Rakshitha, and somebody should explain her. Not blaming anyone for his extreme step, the actor advised that the family and its extended members to maintain tranquility, minding that they were bonded only by him.
The deceased actor thanked Radhika Sarathkumar for her support besides several other media houses for giving him space. On Sunday night, the cops broke into his house and moved his body.
Actor Bose Venkatesh, told the media, said that Sai Prashanth was reportedly seen last by his neighbours on Sunday, at around 11 am. “Sai was always a cheerful, and fun loving guy”, he said. The actor who was living alone for quite sometime was recently married to Sujitha and Rakshita is his daughter from the first marriage.
“Sujitha left for her parents’ following a quarrel and the family was trying to patch things among the couple. The actor had not blamed anyone for his death, and could have been depressed over his family life”, said a police source. The actor’s body was handed over to the family following a post-mortem examination at KMC Hospital on Monday afternoon.
