Hyderabad: VHR petitions police to stop sunburn festival
He said in the name of Sunburn festival, dance, music and cocktails were being offered to youth that would spoil them.
Hyderabad: Former Congress MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Cyberabad police commissioner requesting that the Sunburn festival scheduled to be held from Friday at Gachibowli stadium be stopped as it was “against Indian culture”.
He said in the name of Sunburn festival, dance, music and cocktails were being offered to youth that would “spoil them”. He said tickets for the event had already been sold out at an exorbitant cost of Rs 5,000 each and the organisers were allowing youth who were below 15 years of age.
