Vijayawada: A video in which Vijayawada city West MLA Jaleel Khan is seen bluffing about his educational qualifications has gone viral. He claimed he studied maths and physics for his B.Com degree, subjects not included in any Bachelor of Commerce course.

In the interview with a Web channel, Mr Khan claimed he was a B.Com graduate but his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission of India says only that he passed his Matriculation (Class 10) in 1969 from SHAD Tutorial College, Vijayawada.
When this correspondent spoke to Mr Khan, he said that he would have to check all his certificates to find out and clarify what he had studied exactly.
Asked further why he had mentioned the B.Com degree in the interview Mr Khan said he is not sure about his qualification, “but I doubt I had studied B.Com and will confirm after checking my certificates.”
