Kurnool: Two shepherds died after being struck by lightning, and two others were injured in Kurnool district on Sunday night.
According to the police, the deceased were identified as Kameshwari, 35, and Sunkanna, 47, residents of Ramalingayapalli village in Tuggali mandal.
The incident took place when they were grazing a herd of sheep in a nearby hill area. Kameshwari and Sunkanna died on the spot while two other shepherds were injured in the incident.
The Tuggali police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
