5 instances of Harbhajan, the handy batsman
Mumbai: Harbhajan Singh – who turned 36 today (July 3) – is known for his artwork with the ball but many forget his remarkable batting skills. Here are a few.
115 against New Zealand (Ahmedabad, 2010)
India were 15 for five before Harbhajan stitched a 163-run stand with VVS Laxman. He reached his ton and celebrated it mimicking Sachin Tendulkar who clapped from the pavilion.
111 not out against New Zealand (Hyderabad, 2010)
Harbhajan followed it up with another ton in the next Test, which came off 116 balls comprising seven fours and seven sixes.

49 against Australia (Vadodara, 2009)
India were chasing 293 and were reduced to 201 for seven. When victory looked unlikely, Harbhajan provided a bit of hope; he took on the star-studded Australian bowling line-up smashing a handsome 49. India lost the match but Harbhajan won hearts.
Happy Birthday @harbhajan_singh paaji. God bless you have a great year ahead. Cheers :)

54 against England (Nottingham, 2002)
Being a tail-ender and helping the team build a good total in swinging English conditions is no joke, Harbhajan managed to do it back in 2002. His half-century came in 33 balls and India went past 350.
