After IPL exit, Harsha Bhogle gets warned for his remark on MS Dhoni
Mumbai: While he is away from commentary duties following his IPL exit, Harsha Bhogle has not deprived his followers from his insights. However, he got a warning of sorts as Jonathan Agnew – former English cricketer and a renowned commentator – asked Bhogle to be “careful” about his comments on Twitter on Friday.
The voice of Indian cricket was dropped from cash-rich league’s commentary team despite his name being on the roster. As Bhogle said he is not aware of the reason.
Would have been nice to be part of @IPL again. Was in fact looking forward to it. Favourite tournament. Hope #IPL9 is a blockbuster.

.@hemantbuch All well, thanks. Don't know why. Had a roster too. @IPL

It was reported that BCCI decided to drop Bhogle from the panel of commentators following a feedback from social media and players.

Bhogle, although not named, was critcised by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan following India vs Bangladesh game in ICC World Twenty20 last month.
T 2184 - With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time.

MS Dhoni’s retweet to Bachchan’s tweet did not help the matters much.

Bhogle went on to tell his side of the story with a Facebook post.
Although there is no clarity, there is speculation that Bhogle was sidelined following an alleged exchange of words with a Vidarbha Cricket Association official during India-New Zealand World T20 game in Nagpur.
But even before the issue has settled down, Bhogle got a warning, rather friendlier one, from Agnew after the former tweeted about MS Dhoni’s missed stumping during Rising Pune Supergiants versus Gujarat Lions game in Rajkot on Thursday.
Rare off day for MSD behind the stumps?

@bhogleharsha Careful. They'll ban you from Twitter next.
