Bombay HC grants permission for May 1 IPL game in Maharashtra
The High Court had earlier directed BCCI to shift all IPL games post April 30 out of drough-hit Maharashtra.
Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday allowed BCCI's application seeking permission to play May 1 IPL match in Pune because it was difficult to shift it.
The HC had earlier directed BCCI to shift all IPL matches to be played after April 30 outside Maharashtra due to drought situation in the state.
The BCCI had moved HC seeking permission to play one IPL match as exceptional case in Pune.
This match would be between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium.
