Common sense is not that common': Sania Mirza trolls Sanjay Manjrekar on Twitter
Mumbai: Tennis star Sania Mirza and former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar got into a Twitter spat on Wednesday over Mirza completing 80 consecutive weeks as the No. 1 doubles player in the world.
Mirza Tweeted about her achievement on Tuesday.
Manjrekar, like many others, congratulated Mirza for her achievement. However, he also pointed out that she was No. 1 in the doubles category.
Mirza replied to Manjrekar pointing out that since she did not play singles anymore, it was common sense.
Manjrekar responded with the Tweet that Mirza missed out on an important detail.
A fired up Mirza replied to Manjrekar with a link to an article from the official Women's Tennis Association website, providing all important details.
Manjrekar finally decided to end the spat, however, in his last Tweet he pointed out that even the article mentioned "No. 1 doubles player in the world".
