Ptron's latest earphones are 'magnetic'
One of the major problems with wired headphones is that you have to deal with pesky wires in a tangled mess. Since wireless earphones are expensive and are not the most suitable choice for a hardcore audiophile, consumers look for such earphones with tangle-free cables. PTron has come up with a new set of earbuds that claim to reduce this ‘tangling’ issue.
Called the PTron Magg, the earphones are magnetic, literally. The earbuds have magnets built into them so as to attach themselves to each other when not in use. This is done primarily to avoid tangled cables. The company claims that users can simply attach the earbuds and even wear it as a necklace when not in use. They also have tangle-free cables, in case you were wondering.
The PTron Magg also has an inbuilt microphone for taking calls. It also comes with volume up/down buttons and pause/play buttons. They also come with ergonomic in-ear design with soft silicone sweat-proof ear tips, claiming to reduce outside noise. The company is selling one of these for Rs 499.
