Gigabyte announces Aorus X9 with two GTX 1070 video cards
Gigabyte has unveiled its new ultra-compact Aorus X9 gaming laptop. The laptop comes with all the top-notch gaming internals such as two NVIDIA graphics cards in SLI and a support for up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM.
The X9 is touted to come with a 7th generation Intel i7-7820HK overclockable processor, two GTX 1070s in SLI and four DDR4 slots supporting up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory. Consumers are given an option of either a 17.3-inch 4K UHD IPS panel or a QHD panel, both featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, the X9 offers an ESS Sabre HiFi audio DAC, ‘quad’ audio setup with two speakers and two woofers, a mechanical keyboard with RGB backlighting and the DoubleShot Pro functionality via Rivet Network’s networking. The Aorus X9 doesn’t come cheap with a starting price of nearly $1750 (Approx Rs1,13,777).
The company claims that the laptop chassis is primarily made out of aluminium for a lighter 3.5kg overall weight. The RGB HUD can show information such as CPU, GPU temperatures, battery level, volume level and others. It can also synchronise with the surrounding RGB chassis lighting.
