Belkin's new dongle will help iPhone 8 users to listen music while charging

If you have been looking forward to upgrading to the new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus from an old iPhone (older than iPhone 7) or an Android smartphone, one of the biggest issues, apart from the old design, would be the lack of a 3.5mm jack. This simply means no music for you while charging it up, unless you have those expensive AirPods. However, Belkin's — the renowned accessory maker, has come up with a solution.

Belkin’s new 3.5mm Audio + Charge RockStar adapter could be one of the most helpful accessories ever created for users of the iPhone 7 and newer models. What it does is simply provide you with the convenience of two ports instead of one dongle. The dongle connects to the lightning port and provides the user with a lightning port for charging and a 3.5mm jack for plugging in conventional headphones. The highlight of the dongle is that both the ports work at the same time, which means you can multitask once again on an iPhone.

Apple also thinks that this is a great accessory for the newer iPhone models, which is why they are selling it through their stores and online portal. That also explains the $34.95 (approx. Rs 2200) price tag, which seems a lot for a dongle with two ports. But then this also adds a lot of convenience of the old world without needing you to spend a lot more on wireless earphones. Expect this to be available in India soon after the iPhone 8’s launch.
