Since the last few weeks, Microsoft is contemplating an overhaul of its mobile platform. CShell has also played a key role in this new push. Now there is new information from China which points towards a new device which could jump start the firm’s mobile strategy.
References to a device named Surface Mobile were discovered by @h0x0d on Twitter on official Microsoft page. According to what the details tell, this could be the highly-anticipated Surface Phone which we hope is real.
The Surface Mobile may have projector capabilities with added hardware connectivity options like mouse and keyboard, most likely with a dock. With this, the company could end up offering a powerful PC the size of a phone (remember Lumia 950/XL!).
The smartphone is slated to run on the Snapdragon 835 processor and has two codenames currently, Peking and Slavonia. But as of now, there has been official confirmation from Microsoft yet, so this goes without saying that this information should be taken with a pinch of salt. There could be however, a good chance that Microsoft is working on something huge at this front.
