Pokemon Go to ban you permanently if you use cheat apps

If you are violating the game's terms and conditions, you Niantic will permanently ban you.

Niantic, the developer behind the most viral smartphone game Pokemon Go, has finally issued a statement that they will ban every person who is violating the terms of service. The ban is specially implemented because many users are found spoofing GPS locations with third-party apps.

The Pokemon Go craze has just blown out of proportion and fans are using all possible means to capture the most number of monsters in order to gain points. To do this, many users are using GPS location spoofing apps, bots and other techniques that helps them gain over other users and play beyond the realm of the games original design.

For instance, GPS location spoofing apps are allowing the user to trick the game into believing that the user is travelling to different locations to capture the monsters. However, the user is stationary and not moving at all. In another trick, bots are also being used to automate portions of the game.

Niantic’s website posted a note where the company outlined the violations of its TOS that will result in a permanent ban on the user. “This includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokemon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software,” says the post. “Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the gameplay, including ongoing optimization and fine tuning of our anti-cheat system,” it concludes.

As for now, it is unclear on how Niantic is presently detecting users with spoofing apps on their games.
