Now you can snooze' your annoying Facebook friends
An individual’s Facebook timeline is a precious collection of personalised information and entertainment. Most of us treat it as an extension of ourselves, with only the world we admire or wish to be in. Therefore, it becomes irritating to see annoying posts and notifications from your hyperactive friends flooding your treasured timeline and forcing you off Facebook completely. It seems that Facebook understood the gravity of the situation and has, therefore, come up with a new ‘Snooze’ feature to hush the human loudspeakers on your Facebook timeline.
The social media giant has rolled out a new feature for all users that will help them to put their annoying Facebook friends to sleep temporarily. The new ‘Snooze’ feature lets any Facebook user to ‘unfollow’ a particular person for a specified period of time. This translates to seeing no more annoying ‘Good morning frnzzz’ rubbish on your curated timeline and being notified of any of their events or achievements.

A Facebook user involved in testing the new feature elaborates the new menu.
One can snooze a person for either a day or a week or even a month. Once that period ends, you will start seeing their posts again, after which you can snooze them again. Of course, if you feel that extensive ‘snoozing’ isn’t helping, you always have the good old Unfollow option, that won’t let them you see any of the concerned person’s posts.
