Huawei launches the P10/Plus with dual Leica cameras
Huawei has launched its much acclaimed P10 and P10 Plus at the MWC Event in Barcelona. The company, alongside its partnership with Leica has introduced its smartphones with branded cameras at the back. With respect to the old version, the new P10 and the P10 Plus sports a design change, an upgraded processor, camera, and software. The device has been launched in as many as eight colour options.
The smartphone is priced at EUR 649 (Rs 45,700) and the P10 Plus priced at starting EUR 699 (Rs 49,200). The P10 and the P10 Plus are powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC and Mali-G71MP GPU. The P10 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the P10 Plus comes with 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage or 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage bundles. There's also support for microSD for further expansion (up to 256GB).
Both the smartphones sport a dual camera setup with one 20MP sensor that takes in monochrome details, and another 12MP sensor which takes in RGB details. It also supports 4K video, 3D facial recognition, OIS, 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus, hybrid zoom, and event bokeh in mono mode.
The P10 comes with a 5.1-inch HD display and runs on a 3200mAh battery. The P10 Plus comes with a 3750mAh battery. The screens of both the smartphones are protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5, and supports fast charging as well.
