Samsung releases TouchWiz UI update for lagging Galaxy S8/S8+
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are great smartphones that display great engineering and craftsmanship from Samsung’s eggheads. However, the Galaxy S8 came with its own set of faults, the red tint display to be one of the prominent ones. And after more than two months, users have been started complaining about the Galaxy S8’s interface lagging. This came as a blow to Samsung who has now rolled out an update to fix the issue.
Galaxy S8 and S8+ users were complaining about lags while switching from the home screen to the app drawer. The latest version of TouchWiz, dubbed as TouchWiz Home version 6.1.09.2, solves the lagging issues, adds an information screen, and improves the visibility of application names under icons.
With the latest version, Samsung has made it possible for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ users to get the latest updates from Samsung Galaxy Apps Store or the Google PlayStore.
