New leaks confirm Galaxy Note 7 with iris scanner
With fingerprint scanners on present phones being a great form of security, it’s time to raise the bar to a higher level. The next level of security locking can be tied down to your eyes—using an iris scanner.
Based on the leaked images posted by Android Authority and Onleaks on their Twitter handle, Samsung will be embedding iris scanner technology on their upcoming flagship, the Galaxy Note 7.

Apart from it, the Galaxy Note 7 is rumoured to feature a feature a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels powered by the Snapdragon 823 SoC, and will have 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device is expected to have 256GB of internal storage, and may have a 4000mAh battery.
As for the camera, the Galaxy Note 7 is believed to sport a rear-camera with 12 MP sensor and a front camera with 5MP sensor.
For now, Samsung has not officially spoken on any of these rumours. More information will be revealed closer to the Galaxy Note 7 launch.
