OnePlus 5 gets EIS for 4K video recording in latest update
OnePlus has rolled out the latest OxygenOS 4.5.7 update for the OnePlus 5. The update will be delivered Over-The-Air (OTA) for OnePlus 5 starting on July 31st, 2017. The update adds a lot of bug fixes and some new features for improving the device’s performance.
The new update adds EIS (Electrical Image Stabilisation) for 4K video. This will be a good news for those who prefer to use their phone for photography. The update also brings standby battery enhancements for optimisation of the OnePlus 5’s battery life. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users initially and will roll out to the majority of the OnePlus 5 users.
The OnePlus 5 is the latest flagship killer with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset with 8GB of RAM. The phone sports a dual-camera comprised of 16MP main, full-colour sensor, claimed to capture 34 per cent more light than the OnePlus 3T, and a secondary 20MP monochrome sensor. The 5.5-inch display is fuelled by a 3300mAh battery.
