Xiaomi's mystic A1 surfaces on Geekbench with SD625
Leaks of Xiaomi’s mystic smartphone — the Xiaomi A1, have been creeping up all over the Internet. Some claim that this Android One smartphone will be based on the recently launched Mi 5X whereas others claim that it will sport an edge-to-edge (or bezel-less) display along with a dual camera setup (check leaked photos here), which could be a first for the Android One lineup or in fact for Google branded phones. The latest one shows the Geekbench scores for the A1, which shows its budget smartphone intent.
The Geekbench scores show that the A1 scores 852 in single-core performance and 3837 in multi-core performance. It is also confirmed that the Xiaomi A1 will be running Android 7.1.2 at the time of launch. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4GB of RAM. Nothing else is revealed about the smartphone though.
No pictures of the speculated smartphone have been leaked that is said to be believable. Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new smartphone series in India, which could be either the Mi 5X mid-ranger with a dual camera or this mystery Android One smartphone. Stay tuned for more information in this regard.
