LG V30 leaks, shows an identical design to G6
The LG V30 is the latest trend in the word of leaks and several reports of the device showing the V30 in different guises have surfaced over the past few days. Now, Roland Quandt, the popular tipster on Twitter, and droidlife have published a few photos of what appears to be the alleged LG V30. And by the looks of it, one can easily mistake it for an LG G6.
The V30 looks like a grown-up version of the current G6 flagship, especially with its dual rear camera and the FullVision display. However, the prototype V30 appears to be utilising an OLED display, which came out in leaks previously. Also, unlike the V20, the V30 doesn’t sport a secondary display above the primary display.
The rear dual-camera module seems to have a slight bump, which indicates that this camera will pack some serious tricks underneath. Besides the dual-camera module, one can spot the laser-assisted autofocus which was also seen on the LG V20. The smartphone is also made of glass, which is a first for the V series smartphones.
If this turns out to be true, then the LG V30 could be just a bigger and improved version of the LG G6. The matured design language will bring the V30 on par with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 and Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8.
