Samsung Galaxy S8 3D renders: No home button, no dual-camera
3D render images of Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S8, have been leaked by GSMArena, a technology news website.
The renders, claimed to be of Samsung Galaxy S8, leaked by the website shows the model with no home button. With the removal of the home button, the smartphone is expected to include the button within the screen along with the two other navigation button—menu and back. The fingerprint sensor will also be housed in the screen.
In addition, the Galaxy S8 will feature stereo speakers at the top and bottom edge of the smartphone. Despite ditching the home button, Samsung S series will continue to sport the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, next to the USB 2.0 port.
And then, there is the rear camera. According to earlier rumours, Samsung was likely to introduce dual-camera; however, the renders show no such setup.
Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to sport a 5.1-inch 2K Super AMOLED display, while the larger variant will have a 5.5-inch display with 4K display. Reports suggest the adoption of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The company is also expected to use its in house Exynos 9 series chip for European and other markets. The Galaxy S8 is also speculated to be the first smartphone to integrate Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging. The Galaxy S8 will also feature an AI voice-assistant, to be called Bixby.
