Apple has released the latest iOS 10.3.2 update eligible for iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th-gen and later and iPod touch 6th-gen. The update reportedly carries several security patches and bug fixes. Apple’s security update page mentions bug fixes for the following: Safari, AVE Video Encoder, CoreAudio, iBooks, IOSurface, kernel and WebKit-related fixes among others.
Several users, however have reported on Apple’s official Support Communities site that their devices are experiencing battery-drain problems ever since they updated it with the latest iOS 10.3.2 update.
“I have a badly battery drain in my iPhone 5s using iOS 10.3.2 please tell me what I should do?,” a user post read on the company’s Support Communities site. The bug seem to be resulting in 10 to 20 per cent of loss in battery. A report by Forbes claims that the bug only seems to be affecting iPhones and not other devices such as iPad or iPod touch.
Apple users can check their ‘Software Update’ tab under Settings for the latest iOS 10.3.2 update.
