New dummy video shows off rumoured iPhone 8 design
It’s been 10 years since Apple unveiled its first smartphone, the iPhone, to the world. During these years the firm has been appreciated for its efforts of redefining the iPhone altogether and also criticised for not leaping in more to bring some major changes to the models. As Apple’s iPhone completes 10 years, and is about to launch its next flagship iPhone, the expectations levels from the firm for the iPhone 8 model is very high.
While the fans, based on rumours, are imaging the design of iPhone 8 model, Tiger Mobiles and OnLeaks together have published a new video teasing how iPhone 8 would look like. The video features an iPhone 8 dummy model sporting an edge-to-edge display, a vertical dual-camera setup with an LED flash place in between the two lenses, a front camera at top bar, and a glossy black chassis made from glass.
Tiger Mobile claims that the video is based upon 3D CAD sourced display from the factory in charge of building the iPhone. The video claims that the iPhone 8 will be 71mm wide, 144mm long, and 7.5mm thick, confirming the earlier rumours. For comparison, the iPhone 7 measures 138.3x67.1x7.1mm, while the iPhone 7 measures 158.2x77.9x7.3 mm.
Also according to the specifications listed out on Tiger Mobiles website, the iPhone 8 will come with wireless charging, no home button and 3.5mm headphone jack, Super AMOLED display and IP67 certification.
