Watch: Miraculous Federer forehand makes man in wheelchair stand up
Melbourne: Five-time champion Novak Djokovic defeated four-time winner Roger Federer 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the semifinals to advance to his 6th Australian Open final.
The match was a tight one, closely watched at the packed Rod Lever Arena. After losing the first two sets in the hard-fought semifinal, the Swiss ace rallied admirably to take the third set 6-3.
There were numerous shots that helped Federer gain a foothold in the match, with the crowd going gaga specially after he delivered a drop-shot and flicked it beyond the in-form Djokovic.

Federer is known for getting standing ovations from crowds, but during this encounter, the 34-year-old’s forehand was so good that it made one fan get out of his wheelchair to applaud Federer.

Unfortunately for Federer fans, the Swiss eventually succumbed to Djokovic in four sets.
