Japanese women 'forced into sex' under false modelling contracts

Atleast one woman has committed suicide after falling prey to such conmen who lure women into sex.

Tokyo, Japan: A shocking revelation by activists revealed that several women in Japan are being subjected to torture and sexual exploitation at the hands of those who lure them into signing modelling contracts, which turn out to be fake.

According to a report in the Independent, women are conned into working for the porn industry. The victims are approached by the conmen who portray themselves as modelling contractors and ask women to sign various contracts.

These women are then asked to sign contracts, which if broken, can land them into legal trouble.

Once the women sign contracts, they are then forced to work for the adult entertainment industry. Upon denial, they are threatened of legal consequences.

Activists also said that some of these women are brutally raped and are forced to engage in unprotected sex.

According to activists, more than 130 cases of forced sex have been reported so far in the past four years. However, many cases still go unreported and the crime continues to see a rising trend.

The multi-million pound porn industry in Japan has resulted in several women attempting to commit suicide after falling prey to horrific abuses.

Last year in September, a model was sued by an adult entertainment company after she signed the fake contract and later refused to appear in their sex assignments.
