M.B. Padmakumar's film 'My Life Partner' will see the return of actor Sukanya to Mollywood after a hiatus. The film starring Ameer, Sudev Nair and Anusree in lead roles, is a path breaking one in Malayalam.
Says Padmakumar, “It is a film about the relationship between two men, and one that shows that a boy and a girl can remain very good friends even if they live in the same home! Anusree's character comes to live with the guys Ameer and Sudev, under some unusual cirmumstances." Though this is Padmakumar's debut, filmmaking is not an alien to him and he has directed a short film. He has also acted in 'Nivedyam' as the villain and says that it is filmmaking that he holds very close to his heart. He states that his film has a very relevant social message mentioning, “There are a lot of divorces happening today. One reason could be that parents of the brides are content looking at the bank balances and horoscope of the bridegroom rather than looking at his character and traits!"
