YSRC holds meet for 1st time after Jagan’s bail
Hyderabad: The YSR Congress has begun preparations for the 2014 general elections. It will hold its extended party meeting to discuss the latest political situation in the state.
YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet party coordinators of the Assembly constituencies at the event.
The YSRC has selected Assembly party coordinators with a view of fielding them as party candidates in general elections. Jagan Mohan Reddy will discuss the prospects of the party in the constituencies with the coordinators.
According to sources, the Kadapa MP wants to change party coordinators in some Assembly constituencies depending on their performance.
He will elaborate on his Delhi visit in his presidential speech. Many of the leaders who joined the YSRC recently are likely to get party tickets in the coming elections.
In some Assembly constituencies, the YSRC has appointed two coordinators as there is infighting for party tickets. Jagan will clarify his stand to them.
