Kuppam (Chittor district): Telugu Desam president and Opposition leader in the state N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a two-day tour to Kuppam, on Tuesday promised sops to woo the voters much ahead of the elections.
Addressing a public meeting at Kuppam, the TD supremo promised to provide hassle-free supply of LPG cylinders at a subsidised rate without Aadhaar linkage if voted to power. He also promised the people of Kuppam to turn the constituency into ‘Bangaru Kuppam.’
Naidu cautioned the people to beware of YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy who the TD chief alleged that would try to take forward the hidden agenda of AICC president Sonia Gandhi under the guise of Samaikyandhra.
He lashed out at the Congress for its largescale corruption not only the state but also the country. Earlier in the day, the TD supremo inaugurated a modal school at Gudupalle mandal and held a meeting with the newly elected sarpanches of the constituency and self-help groups members.
Naidu also attended the wedding of collegemate P.S. Munirathnam’s daughter at Krishnagiri. before returning to the state capital.
