Cops filed FIR after court order
Hyderabad: A police complaint was filed by one G. Ravindar Reddy who alleged that D.K. Bharat Simha Reddy, minister for information D.K. Aruna’s husband, and his associates had trespassed into his house to kill his father G. Kaghnath Reddy.
Police said that the complainant had stated that at that time, his father was not home and that is why he escaped the murder attempt. Kodandapuram sub-inspector of police, Ghousuddin said, “We have registered an FIR after the court referred it and are investigating the case.” The alleged incident took place in Shaikpally a month back.
As the police had refused to issue an FIR, the complainant had approached the court, which issued the orders.
