Prabhu Deva is B-wood’s lucky charm
Prabhu Deva’s reputation as Bollywood’s lucky mascot is growing. After making a guest appearance in Akshay Kumar’s 'Boss', Prabhu was roped in by Shah Rukh Khan for 'Happy New Year'. Contrary to reports, however, Prabhu isn’t choreographing any numbers for this Farah Khan-directed film.
According to Abhishek Bachchan, the cast of 'HNY' had barged in on Prabhu’s sets and asked him to be a part of their film. “We caught him unawares. We just pulled Prabhu sir out from the sets of a film that he was shooting for and asked him to play a small bit in 'HNY',” Abhishek shared.
Despite not being associated with 'HNY' in any aspect, Prabhu agreed to make an appearance and didn’t even ask for any remuneration. “Prabhu’s popularity is growing with every film. He has earned a lot of goodwill in a short span of time,” said a source close to Prabhu Deva.
With his professional approach, box office viability and goodwill in the industry, Prabhu is playing his cards well indeed.
